How to useReusable Food Wraps Use the warmth of your hands to shape beeswax wraps around food, bowls, plates, platters, casserole dishes, to create a protective, breathable seal. Store in the fridge, on the counter, or place over a large bowl of prepared salad to keep fresh before serving. Best for wrapping directly around cheese, bread, fresh produce, left over pizza slices, and baked goods. Reusable Food Storage Bags Place food inside the bag and fold over to seal in freshness. Store in the fridge or the countertop. Best for large or delicate produce like a bunch of herbs, a head of lettuce, a bunch of grapes, bread sticks, chips or bagels. "Cut-To-Size" Wraps Cut this large (26" x 14") wrap to the size and shape you need! Best for lining refrigerator shelves and crisper bins. Cover a cooled dessert for easy transport. Wrap around flowers to give as a second half of a gift. (Flowers for now, wrap for later). Wrap your bar soap, shampoo and conditioner in wraps to prevent leaking when traveling. Perfect placemat for picnics. How long do beeswax wraps last? Beeswax wraps last for up to two years with proper care and regular use. You'll know your wrap has reached the end of its useful life when the fabric has worn out, or the wrap has lost its stickiness. If the fabric has worn out, add to your compost pile, or use as a natural and effective fire starter. If the wrap has simply lost some of its tackiness, it can be 'refreshed'. To refresh, simply pop wrap on a sheet of parchment on baking tray. Into the oven at 215 degrees Fahrenheit for 3-5 minutes. Additional Magic Refresher blocks can be purchased to give your wraps new life. How do I care for my beeswax wraps? Easy! Just wash in warm water with a mild dish soap. Then, drape your wraps over your drying rack to air dry. Remember to avoid all sources of heat, including hot water, microwaves, ovens, hot cars, and covering bowls of hot leftovers.

MaterialsWhat are beeswax wraps made of? Beeswax wraps are made of cotton, responsibly sourced beeswax, jojoba oil, and tree resin. This combination of ingredients creates a malleable food wrap that can be used again and again. Do beeswax wraps have any scent? Yes. When you first open your package of beeswax wraps you will smell the beeswax. Beeswax carries the scent of the flowers from which the bees harvested the pollen. The scent will fade after the first few uses and washes, until you can no longer detect it. Where are Boho Bee Company Beeswax Wraps made? Our beeswax wraps are proudly handmade in Frederick, Maryland USA.

SizingWhat WRAP size is best for my needs? We produce several sizes of beeswax wraps. If you are new to our products, we recommend starting with our assorted set of three sizes, which includes one each of our small (10" x 10"), medium (12" x 12"), and large (13.5" x 13.5") wraps. Experiment with these to determine which size is most useful for you. Some ideas and helpful size guides are below. Small Wrap: 10 x 10 inches a small cereal bowl block of cheese 1/2 a large orange Medium Wrap: 12 x 12 inches Standard sandwich Side plate (such as for salad) 1/2 a grapefruit Large Wrap: 13.5 x 13.5 inches Half a cabbage or watermelon Giant block of cheese Apple (or any fruit) pie Artisanal loaf of bread Bunch of celery Gigantic sandwiches for magnificent weekend adventures Cut-To-Size Wrap: 26 x 14 inches Cut and cover just about anything with this size wrap What BAG size is best for my needs? We produce several sizes of beeswax bags; from the sandwich size to the large size, we have a bag for all your food storage needs! Unlike the wraps, our bags are sold individually. They come in four different sizes: The Sandwich (7.5" x 7.5"), small (9.75" x 9.75"), medium (11.75" x 11.75"), and large (12.75" x 12.75"). Experiment with these to determine which size is most useful for you. Some ideas and helpful size guides are below. "Sandwich" Bag: 7.5" x 7.5" Although named the sandwich bag, this bag is also equally suited for loose snacks such as goldfish, trail mix, fruit slices, mixed fruit, chopped vegetables, and nuts. Small Bag: 9.75"x9.75" A bit larger than the sandwich bag, this bag is exceptionally handy for carrying a small lunch; will hold a sandwich, a snack or two, and some fruit. For those furry friends of ours, our small 'dog' bag is perfect for carrying some kibble and some treats. Medium Bag: 11.75"x11.75" The medium bag is perfect for taking to the farmer's market and dropping your produce into. Instead of placing your tomatoes in a plastic bag to take home, place them in a medium sized bag. No need to wash them right away. The bag will keep your fruit fresh for ages. For our dog friends, this size bag is especially good for carrying home those wet dog toys from the dog park. Simply pop the muddy ball or toy into the small bag, roll the top of the bag up tightly and it will stay closed until you get home. Then hand wash the bag thoroughly, air dry and take it back to the dog park next time! Large Bag: 13.75"x 13.75" The large bag has a multitude of uses. The large Boho Bee beeswax bag is perfect for storing large vegetables such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, kale, Swiss chard, bunches of carrots or lots of apples for that apple pie. The large bag will contain any dirt left on the produce, and can be used to transport vegetables from the market directly to the refrigerator without making a mess. It will contain enough food for a large dog (who eats kibble) for a long weekend trip and keep it fresh.
